COVID BOOSTER
WHAT TO EXPECT:

Currently the CDC guidelines are changing week to week, but Bellmore Family Practice is staying up to date on the most recent guidelines.

As of now:
Immunocompromised patients can currently receive the booster shot at most Pharmacies. The CDC is currently saying it should be “8 months” after your second injection for vaccinated individuals. You should have your vaccine card with you when you go & make sure you are getting the same manufacturer booster shot as you did previously. (Pfiezer & Moderna).

Currently, our Practice does not plan to have the vaccination in our office, but Catholic Health may plan to have Vaccination Centers throughout Nassau & Suffolk Counties.
