Spring is here! I’ve already built my first 10’ x12’ backyard Pergola!
Of course I’m always available for spackling and installing a new faucet but every once in a while I get a truly interesting project like last summer, when a client asked me to cut a row boat in half to make shelves out of the prow. It was a challenge. Not just fitting the shelves but also supporting them properly in such a strange shape. I used a series of Jigs and a technique called “tick-sticking” to set the shelves. And I also made a second set out of the stern at no extra cost (just materials). Please Check out the photos...

Damn, the can opener’s in the Dish washer I just started. No problem I can use the antique one on the wall. My mom was selling it for $10 still has her tag.🤣
The edge it makes isn’t exactly child safe!

After a burst pipe, the plumbers had to tear out wallboard to get at them and then the new lines didn't quite fit in the same space leaving me quite the puzzle... It was an odd mess but I think the final result is pretty neat.
