Its a place to find peace, a break from the mind and to get that spark back into your life. That spark is a special thing inside all of us, its that feeling when you get up in the morning and you know its goi
ng to be a good day. You can just feel the smile on your face and the spring in your step! Stepping out of a float tank is exactly like that, only you are calm and you are ready to take on anything that comes your way. When you step out of the tank you are a whole new, creative, fully rested and curious person. Seen through "float eyes" the world becomes a new and exciting experience and with repeated floating your life can quite literally take on a whole new meaning. I know its a lot to say, but a float tank is a tool. Its a tool to assist you in whatever goal you have in your life. If you have a need or a goal it can assist you on your journey. While anything is possible in a float tank and on your life path I will put these goals or journeys (for brevity's sake) into three separate categories, one is physical, one is psychological or spiritual and the third is creativity and super learning. Your path can be a physical one back to better health. The tank can assist in the process of healing almost any physical ailment in the body. It can improve sleep, help you cope with stress and depression, assist you in weight loss, detoxification, and working with addiction of any kind. It can be particularly helpful with chronic issues in the body like, pain, arthritis, high blood pressure, stress, headaches, digestive issues, auto immune disease, fibromyalgia... and the list goes on and on and on. Anything that puts stress on the body the tank can help relieve and the relief can last for days. This relief is also called the "post float glow." You not only feel like but you also look like a whole new person when you leave the tank! It can also be a psychological and spiritual path of knowing the self at a much deeper level. The tank takes you into the deepest level of meditation (without even knowing how to meditate!!!) You can dive into your unconscious, connect with your higher self, or god,godess, spirit, the divine or the universe! It can expand your imagination and visualization skills and it can also assist you in deepening your dream life and working with lucid dreaming. The third path is one of creativity and learning. The tank is a way to clear the mind of all of the unnecessary that can clog us up sometimes. Its what happens when we loose sight of our spark, our creativity our spirit. The tank helps you filter through all of the voices and the to-do lists and helps you get down to the nitty gritty of it. If you are working on a creative project as an artist, a writer, a musician a business person, any thing in which you use your creative mind to build something, the tank is the place to navigate and bring new life to a project. Learning is a part of this third path. The tank clears the mind and you exit like a blank slate. The mind becomes thirsty for new knowledge. It is looking for something new to soak up like a sponge. The tanks are used to help people with super learning at prestigious universities and are especially helpful in learning new languages, and acquiring new skills or knowledge. Floating is an experience just about anyone can benefit from. Like I said it is a tool, a tool to assist you, no matter what your path is in life.
