We recently installed a memorial stone for our “Angel Donor” Penny Senger Sanford. Penny found renewal in nature and appreciated our trail building and stewardship work. Penny became our benefactor in 2001 and generously invested in our organization.

It was her contribution and our shared dream to build an Outdoor Classroom for our community in the Hundred Acre Wood. The stone reflects that Penny “loved to spend time in these woods and graciously supported the creation of the Outdoor Classroom.”

Thank you, Whatcom County Parks and Recreation, for adding some grip to a section of the Bay to Baker Trail!And including us in some of the fun 🤩
