Pecha Kucha Bellingham
PechaKucha is a global event that provides a forum for creative people to showcase their work... by sticking to a rapid-fire delivery (20 seconds per slide, for 20 slides), everyone is engaged and nobody gets bored. Bellingham has one of the most actively creative communities in the country, and now there is a way to get direct exposure to the minds behind the work!

Bellingham's 7th Pecha Kucha Night will be held April 21st at the Mt. Baker Theatre! We're partnering with Sustainable Connections for Kapow! #2, and this year the focus is on creative place-making to revitalize State Street. Come on down to watch the presentations, vote on your favorites, and sip on some local brews. And check out this awesome poster artwork by Gretchen Leggitt!

Alright Bellingham, here it is! We're partnering with Sustainable Connections, the City, The Downtown Bellingham Partnership, and various business sponsors in order to put on a really awesome event.
In a nutshell: 1) Brainstorm an inspiring idea that would make Bellingham a more interesting city to live in - public art, games, gardens, lighting, etc. 2) Submit your idea to Sustainable Connections by January 30. 3) The top 8-10 submissions will present at Pecha Kucha Volume 6, to be held on the main stage of the Mt. Baker Theatre in March. We'll grant Mayor's Choice, Superhero, and People's Choice awards to the top presenters, and you'll get funding to make your idea come to life!
