You did it! Thank you to the 189 donors who raised more than $19,000 (and counting...) during Library Giving Day! Every gift matters and you surpassed the $15,000 goal, strengthening the community with your gifts.
Because of you, newborns will receive their first books, local kids in the Summer Reading program get to keep a "forever book", community members will enjoy free concerts across the county and people of all ages will attend the Open Book book fair on November 8.
Thank you for your support of key library programs and events that improve the lives of people of all ages across Whatcom County!

Thank you, WCLF donors and sponsors, for your belief in libraries! We appreciate all the ways you support the foundation and the library system.
Thank you, Whatcom County voters! According to the latest ballot count from the Whatcom County elections department, the library levy measure on the Aug. 5 ballot was approved by a majority of voters and funding for the library services that our community depends upon is secure for the foreseeable future. Election results will be certified Aug. 19.
Having reliable, sustainable funding means WCLS staff can continue to provide excellent, innovative library services across Whatcom County that help improve people’s lives. We are grateful. Learn what’s next and how to stay connected at wcls.org/levy.
