Our beautiful Blue and Green take on the baby-s**t pea-green-vomit tinder-fodder tomorrow. How they managed to slime their way above the red line is nothing short of voodoo. But whatever!! They’ll burn like tinder does in a bonfire or an STI under antibiotics.

ANYWAYS! The Night Watch has been on auto pilot for the 2024 season, it’s true. We know where to go and what to do when we need to be there because we’re fckn awesome like that.
That said, there is a hiccup in our usual giddy-up. Our beloved home bar, Menace, will only be serving NA drinks for this particular watch party. If you’re not on the terraces and prefer to watch with a beer in hand, please defer to our buddies at Zeek’s Pizza or Doug’s burgers, both on Meridian within walking distance.
Menace will be back in full force for the PLAYOFFS!!!! Woot woot woooooot!!!

Happy Match Day! Well, there will either be a match or a circus side show, we’ll see. The sca… the uh, temporary referee situation is already problematic in this young season. Crappy calls, mass confusion, who know who’s being paid off, frustrated players, livid fans, so many unaccounted for extra minutes… Sometimes it doesn’t even feel real because it is such a Mess out there. Times like these I wonder what would Dempsey do?
So where does that leave us as supporters? That leaves us right where we’ve always been: lucky to have the greatest team you’ve ever seen. We cheer on Champions. And way down deep inside, admit it, you love being Insufferable 🤫😈

¡El Corazón de Los Sounders! We set him free and he came back! He loves us back! I always knew he’d come back. I KNEW it! Sigh 😍🥰
This guy. My guy. Our guy. Oh, how I’ve missed him. I can’t describe my undying gratitude for Osvaldo Alonso. He’s the f*cking Honeybadger and Honeybadger don’t care. Talent aside, his life story is a testament to determination and dedication. We all remember when Padre Alonso dropped in from Cuba to watch his son play for the first time on the pitch... Gah! 😭 “We love your son, so we love you!”
It is no surprise whatsoever that he wants to retire as a legend with his legendary club. I could make an ozillion metaphors for hearts and churches and family and soccer so I will spare you the Junior High poetry and simply say, “bienvenito a casa, Ozzie.” 🫶💙🫶💚🫶

Speaking of butts in seats, if your butt isn’t on the terraces tonight to support, take it to Menace Brewing! Btw, have you tried their Night Watch Pub Ale? Just sayin’… soccer friendly, dog friendly, kid friendly, good food, good beer, (maybe?) Girl Scout cookies. It’s a no doi.
