This Thursday's PPL will give us a chance to learn about the status of the H-2A Visa program in Whatcom County. We will discuss the history of H-2A, its dramatic expansion in Whatcom County in recent years and the impact it has on our local food system. This Thursday May 7 we have a field trip PPL! We will join some of our friends from the Secretary of State’s office for a Trivia Night at the Sedro-Woolley Public Library. There will be games! There will be snacks! There will be trivia! Please RSVP below if you plan to join or if you would like to car pool with some of our team members from Bellingham.

In this lab, we will learn about what AI is, the billionaires who are rapidly building it, and the impact that this popular technology has on land, water, and workers.
