When was the last time you thought about cleaning your makeup brushes? Be honest, I'm not here to judge. It's something a lot of us don't think about doing very often but dirty brushes can lead to breakouts and clogged pores, irritation or even infections.
How often? Generally once per week is recommended but more often if you are acne prone or using liquid and cream based products. You don't have to spend extra money on a fancy brush cleaners, I recommend using a baby shampoo. A favorite tool for getting all the gunk out of eyeliner and concealer brushes are those makeup egg cleaners available on Amazon for a couple dollars but the palm of your hand works good too.
Step 1 - Run your brushes under lukewarm water focusing on the bristles and avoiding the metal part that holds it all together (the ferrule), as water will break down the glue over time.
Step 2 - Put a little shampoo in a bowl and swirl some on your brush. Use your hand or the egg to gently agitate the bristles, working up a lather and adding more water as needed. Rinse thoroughly and repeat until water runs clear from the brush.
Step 3 - Squeeze out the excess water and reshape the brush being careful not to pull on the bristles. Lay flat on a towel to dry.

There have been no legitimate studies that prove chemical filters in sunscreens are causing coral reef bleaching. Want to know what is causing it? Climate change, over-fishing and land based pollution.
Don’t fall for cosmetic marketing when they claim their SPF is “reef safe” because 1)there is no proof any sunscreen damages coral reefs and 2) there is no legal regulatory standards to call it that, it’s merely marketing BS and green washing.
