3d printed louvers installed on airplane dash!!!

3d printing is similar to computers in the 80s. We are only scratching the surface on the potential applications. It's going to take decades for people to develop applications of the technology.

This dowel jig allowed me to make a shed door using joinery faster than I could have made it using screws. Glued dowel joints are far more durable to fastened joints. Small applications like this are where 3D printing is starting to creep into professional use.

What will we be printing in a decade?
