The art of Van Kaufman, Art Fitzpatrick, Bob Peak, Robert McGinnis, and Robert Abbett was known for its jaunty lines and heavy paint strokes. Look for examples in movie posters from Sophia Loren's "Diabolique," "Our Man Flint," "Valley Of The Dolls," and "Apocalypse Now."
Raquel Welch had the kind of features that blended well with this art style - modern, colorful, upbeat, hopeful, and sultry. Art Prints of this impressionist portrait are available on my page at Fine Art America, and start at around seventeen bucks!

Big City Girl IX is an impressionist image of Raquel Welch, standing in a city street at sunset. Her tall stature plays against the tall buildings behind her. The style was made famous in the 1960s by artists like Art Fitzpatrick, Van Kaufman, Bob Peak (who also did the famous Apocalypse Now movie poster), Robert McGinnis, and Robert Abbett.
Art prints of Rocky - and many other subjects - are available on my Fine Art America page starting at around $17.00!
