in the fields of nursing & counseling of which she advises on addiction, sexual and spiritual issues, as well as a running a general private practice. Theoretical training includes cognitive behavior, reality therapy and transactional analysis (T.A.). She is trained in the Dr. Patrick Carnes, Ph.D. task model of sex, co-addiction and couples treatment from 1987-1991. She has been assessing and treating these conditions in her private practice since 1991. She is also trained by Dr. Al Cooper Ph.D. and with Pia Melody, RN on love/relationship addiction issues. She has also taught multiple workshops and seminars throughout the Pacific Northwest and the U.S. on these subjects to healthcare professionals. She was on faculty at Bellevue Community College where she taught the 1st class on "internet addiction and cybersex" in 2004. Sue took a 3 year sabbatical (1993-1996) where she travelled with her husband, Jerry, to 14 countries. She also led a meditation at the United Nations. Some specific conditions Sue treats are; sexual dependency and addiction, cybersex, internet addiction, computer addiction, relationship dependency and addiction, co-addiction and codependency, couples counseling, chemical dependency, alcoholism, adult children of alcoholics, depression, anxiety disorder, phobias, sexual anorexia, smoking cessation, weight management, grief and trauma resolution, and childhood abuse.
