Religion Evolved

n talent for certain things? Some people seem to have phenomenal musical or sports ability. There are even certain individuals that claim to be able to communicate with the world beyond what we see…and a few of them seem to actually be doing just that. Why do some people feel trapped in the body of the opposite gender? Should a person be condemned to burn in hell forever because they had s*x outside of marriage or perhaps with the “wrong” gender person(s)? Are you a sinner if you don’t accept the notion that a man named Jesus died for your sins 2000 years ago? Should we really believe that a book called the Bible that was written by many varied authors and assembled into a final book by political committee is the actual Word of God? There are certainly a lot of unanswered questions in this world. The funny thing is that many of the main stream religions don't make any attempt to answer a lot of these questions. Or they simply tell us that we don't need to know…that it’s for "God" to know and beyond our understanding. We think there are simple answers to many of these questions and that we are capable of understanding the answers. We think these answers will ring true for those who are ready to seek those answers. We believe in an inter connected universe (actually a multiverse which are multiple universes). We believe that just as species evolve and physical bodies can evolve over time that souls can and do evolve as well. Our truth tells us that if we try to be good human beings and put out positive energy (some call it good karma) into the world that our souls will continue to evolve and eventually get us to what many people call "Heaven" and what some people call Nirvana or enlightenment…what we call a fully evolved soul. During my lifetime I have often been asked if I'm a Christian. More often people just assume that I'm a Christian. I was raised in a Christian church but very early in life realized that much of it did not make sense. It wasn't logical. Even at a young age of 10 years old I was questioning the faith based assumptions that I was supposed to fully believe in. I just knew that there were a lot of things that didn't add up even to a 10 year olds limited reasoning skills. So, how should I respond when people ask (or assume) that I'm a Christian? I could say that I'm an Atheist. But that's not true since Atheist's believe that there is no higher power. They believe that when we die we just turn into dust or worm food and that's it…nothing else. Well, I certainly don't believe that. Usually, I might respond by saying I'm Agnostic which means I don't know if there's a God or not. It's just a fancy way of saying I don't know what the hell is going on in this world, but that I can't swallow any of the lines the other main stream religions are trying to feed me. But I'm not really Agnostic either. I do have a belief system. I do believe in something more than just a temporary existence on planet Earth before we decay into nothingness. I believe that there are many things happening in the world around us that are simply beyond our ability to perceive it. I believe that Charles Darwin was onto something when he defined evolution on a physical level. I just don't think he explored evolution to it's logical conclusion. If the physical world evolves then so do our souls (I use the word souls since people are familiar with the term but it's really our bodies energy life form…but we'll stick with souls so as not to freak people out). So, I'm not an Agnostic. I don't subscribe to the Athiesm school of thought. I have my own believe system which springs from what my own soul tells me is the truth. So, therefore I believe in what I call Religion Evolved.
