Next up, Cassie Withrow. Cassie is volunteering with Obliteride for the second year in a row, and her connection to the cause has grown deeply personal. Over the past year, her family experienced firsthand the care, compassion, and hope that Fred Hutch brings to patients and their loved ones. After losing her mom to cholangiocarcinoma last October, Cassie returns to Obliteride holding onto the moments, memories, and love they shared—showing up in her mom’s honor and fighting for a future where more stories end in healing.

For Cassie, volunteering at Obliteride is unlike anything else. The energy, the purpose, and the way the community comes together to support a cause that impacts so many is truly special.

Cassie, thank you for your dedication and for honoring your mom in such a meaningful way.

We've been busy these last several months—and our team has been growing right alongside our projects. Today, we're pleased to introduce the first group of talented professionals who have joined GLY in recent months. Each has already made an impact, bringing new perspectives, expertise, and energy to our teams.

From the lively Mount Vernon Fairgrounds village filled with music, food, and dancing, to the scenic route winding through grassy lowlands, along the water, and out toward Deception Pass, it’s a truly unforgettable event that brings purpose and community together.
