You need to be very knowledgeable of all aspects of a real estate transaction before you can be a trusted advisor playing a critical role in the largest financial decision of someone’s life! I always put my client’s needs first and build a long-lasting relationship built on honesty and trust. To accomplish this, I began my career as an ASHI Certified Home Inspector where I completed over 300 + residential home inspections. I mastered the ability to identify, educate, and communicate the condition of the homes core systems to a buyer so they could make an informed decision. After becoming an expert as a home inspector and WA State Licensed Structural Pest Inspector I transitioned into the role of a mortgage broker. This is where I would learn the most important component in real estate, how to finance the purchase of residential real estate. I became well versed in educating my clients in the home buying and financing process recommending the best loan package that would meet their financial needs. Most importantly, I acted as a liaison between the real estate agent, lender, title/escrow companies, appraiser, credit agency, underwriters, processors, attorneys, and any other service providers to successfully close the deal on time. You have to have a strong passion for real estate and be an expert in the market you live and invest in. I bought my first property out of college and have bought and sold several properties over the years. I take great pride in sharing my expertise and educating clients on all aspects of a real estate transaction to ensure a positive and fun experience. I am a firm believer in giving back and supporting the community in any way that I can. I enjoy volunteering as a hatchery technician at the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery and taking an active role in food drives for local food banks. I also donate a portion of my commission on every deal to the John L. This is a great cause that raises millions of dollars every year to make sure that children have access to quality medical care. When I am not engaged in real estate, I am chasing the elusive Steelhead on our local rivers such as the Snoqualmie and Skykomish or making the journey over to the Olympic Peninsula in hopes of catching the fish of a lifetime. I love spending quality time with my wife Kristina, daughter Ainsley, and son Declan and traveling to new and exciting places with them.
