ATSA launched its new Strategic Research Agenda yesterday at . We also shared our latest video highlighting our values and vision at ATSA.
ATSA was founded on the belief that knowledge, collaboration, and action can transform how society responds to sexual abuse. Building on this legacy, we're launching our Strategic Research Agenda.

We need your input. Over the coming months, ATSA members will help shape this agenda to reflect our community's expertise and priorities. The process will culminate at our first Annual Research Summit in Canada, where we'll advance a shared global vision for the future of sexual abuse prevention and treatment research.

ATSA CONFERENCE 2025 — Plenary Speaker Spotlight
Dr. Debby Herbenick, Provost Professor in the Department of Applied Health Science and Director of the Center for Sexual Health Promotion, is a plenary speaker at the 2025 Annual Research & Treatment Conference.
We’re honored to have Dr. Herbenick join us to help push the conversation forward in prevention, education, and public health. Her most recent book, Yes Your Kid, offers practical and compassionate insight for parents navigating conversations about sexuality with teens—a must-read in today’s world.
Dr. Herbenick is a nationally recognized sexuality researcher, educator, and author whose groundbreaking work is shaping the national conversation on sexual health, attitudes, and behaviors. She is a trusted voice in promoting accurate, research-informed dialogue—especially around women’s health and adolescent sexuality.
