Beaverton Resource Guide
READER COMMENT: I continue to enjoy the Traffic Q&A section of the BRG. It was an interesting discussion about the speed limit and how it's decided. I find the community vision for Beaverton a very important topic. "What do you want Beaverton to look like in 10 years"? Thank you for your great work and a wonderful issue.

READER COMMENT: Favorite article: On page 20 about Fire Camp for girls [by Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue]. One of our favorite TV programs is Chicago Fire. Part of that program has to do with training girls firefighting to encourage them to become firefighters; it's called "Girls on Fire." So, I related the article to that and like that it's a similar thing.
I also liked that some of the ads were posted on "cork" bulletin boards.

The Beaverton Farmer's Market is now a full season market so you can pick up fresh goodness all year long!
READER COMMENT: We got the paper at the McDonalds on Beaverton Hillsdale. Favorite stories included the piece, for me, on the Mayors update and where to find the State of The City address, the information on the Bubble Tea event, how fun. Unfortunately we are booked that day. I always love the Directory to see what I am missing out on. I wish I had seen the piece on April is Stress Awareness month as would have loved to do the loop walk. Incentizes me pick up the paper earlier in the month!! I will however stop into the Chamber and pick up a walking map!
I saved the article on Is Your Back Killing You as seems always someone I know with back issues. Same for The Importance of Dental care- I’m often reminding my adult kids about this
I enjoy all the articles on Health and Wellness as being 72, I want to be the best I can be ! Enjoyed the tips for a Heart Healthy Life Style also and the exercise to strengthen senior brains.
Grandboys loved the story on the Bontebok survival at the Zoo.
I had my freshman grandson read the article on the Soul Box Project. We are all excited about the Beaverton Library City Park grand opening. Thanks for the information. I would not have known without your paper! And finally as soon as the rain stops we plan to check out some of the Wildflower Tours!
So many good articles and information this month. Thank you!
