“lean into the tension.”
Growth often unfolds in the moments that feel uncertain, where you’re stretched between what was and what’s still becoming. There’s a quiet strength in staying present when things aren’t resolved, trusting that something deeper is taking shape beneath the surface. In that space, allow resilience to form, clarity to rise, and dare to discover just how much you’re capable of holding.
THIS TOO, SHALL PASS, my latest short screendance premieres this Saturday. Tickets available now. Link in bio.

I am thrilled to have as the featured dancer in my upcoming screendance project. I first had the pleasure of meeting Sabastian during my time as a professor at Kennesaw State University, where I was fortunate to have them as a student. Later, I had the honor of collaborating with them as a dancer in my work, ANOTHER VERSION OF EVENTS, created for the KSU Dance Company. Below is a introduction to Sabastian, in their own words:
“I am a being that craves connection, and this allows me to be open to receiving others as they are, where they are, in their journey through the tools of improvisation while approaching each other, and the spaces we occupy, all while in a state of mindfulness. It is my endeavor to facilitate experiences of connection and understanding to liberate myself and others from the human condition of chronic thinking, and by doing so reconnect the human animal to the power and wealth of knowledge available to it through movement. Sympathy is the physical act of empathy- empathy in action, in motion, and we as a species must become more sympathetic to the realities of our shared existence. My movement philosophy is focused on the cultural and spiritual evolution of our species through the means of Movement as a Form of Revolution. Movement is Life. Movement is Medicine. Movement is Liberation.”

I loosen my grip and walk beside what is,
learning to carry the weight without naming it a wound.
even this moment, steady and aching, is already on its way through. this too, shall pass.
