Ruth's Roots

Good afternoon! I am looking for an individual that can come in and get some beds ready and plant some seeds/plants at the garden and perhaps some painting and other small chores. If you are available and a hard worker, please message us. Thank you!

I will continue to say it, but this community is the greatest!! Main Street Methodist gave away over 100 holiday meal bags this morning. Then our amazing Rotary did a food drive and stocked the pantry! Check out this greatness! 💗 My heart is full. The Rotary actually collected more food than this and the extra is at Main Street Methodist Church. This church is doing amazing things, yall! Their youth pastor built the new blessing box and they store extra food and move it over to the box as needed. If anyone ever wants to donate more than will fit in the box, please get it to the church, which is across the street from Ruth’s Roots.

Proud to be the site of the first period pantry on the Gulf Coast. The pantry is used a lot, so please donate supplies when you visit. Also, please vote for Ruth’s Roots (link below). Good morning!!! We have been invited to make a Christmas tree for the depot that represents Ruth’s Roots. I’m so excited about this project, but I’m not the most creative person on the planet. Fortunately Ruth’s Roots has amazing fans and I knew y’all would have great ideas. Make it an “edible” tree with bird food ornaments and popcorn chains? Give a big nod to Jim and Ruth and find a king cake ornaments or doberge cake? Make ornaments with a variety of inspirational quotes? Ornaments from the different states that have people that have visited Ruth’s Roots? Since Ruth’s Roots represent community, have people donate an ornament that represents themselves/family/heritage to adorn the tree?

What do yall think? I need all of the good ideas and some helpers to make it beautiful. 💗
