Arrangements have been made for Tee's service. A Rosary will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel by David Guillory. At the request of family, visitation will be held the same day from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM.

We miss you, Sweet Tee!

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of long-time, beloved volunteer Tarril "Tee" Fontenot. He passed unexpectedly Tuesday evening, surrounded by friends and family.

Tee crewed or performed in almost every show at TBR for over a decade. He was always there with a smile and a kind word and was always willing to help in any way he could. He was the epitome of generosity. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. Please join us in sharing your memories about Tee!

Don't worry about signing up, just come to the theater by 3 pm. We'll be here until 4!

Theatre Baton Rouge will be having a public costume sale on Saturday, May 3 starting at 10 am! Come look through the racks for your favorite costumes!

Twelve shoppers will be allowed in at a time. All shoppers must have an appointment. Individuals without an appointment will not be allowed in.

We will also need volunteers to prepare for the sale, help shoppers and ring up sales! Shifts will be Saturday, April 26 starting at 10 am, and Saturday, May 3 10 am-4 pm. As an added bonus, if you sign-up to volunteer, you will have the opportunity to shop before the regular public shopping hours and get the pick of a larger selection of costumes and accessories! More details about those options will be provided to individuals that sign-up to volunteer.

If you sign-up to volunteer and you have a regular shopping appointment. it will be opened to someone else.

Credit and debit cards will be the only accepted forms of payment.

Now that the last performance has occurred at Theatre Baton Rouge, we wanted to thank you for all that you have done for TBR throughout the years. It is only because of your service, the contributions of your resources, and attendance at our shows that we were able to survive and thrive through the last 79 years!

As of Monday, April 14 the box office will no longer be staffed on a regular basis. If you call you will need to leave a voicemail. It may take some time for you to receive a response as the voicemail box won't be checked regularly. Please know that we are still here for you as things progress though!
