His and hers: St. Francis Healthcare System in Cape Girardeau, MO

⁉️Why they chose Emergency Medicine
His: It’s where the action is. Diversity.
Hers: Taking care of patients in true emergencies is one thing I always loved, but I also like the shift work. It allows me to spend time with my family.

💜 What they miss about Baton Rouge
His: Kolache Kitchen. Crawfish. The Bulldog.
Hers: I miss the great people, wonderful colleagues, and LSU football!!

🤔 Interesting fact about yourself
His: Luthier, master diver.
Hers: We have three kids who keep us very busy.

💕 Favorite memory from residency
His: Togetherness during Thursday morning lectures and group lunches after. Intubating 13 people in one shift.
Hers: One of my favorite memories from residency is riding along when a warrant was served by BRPD.

🤓 Their advice for incoming residents
His: Taylor Sanders is always right. Ultrasound something every shift. Be at least 15 minutes early.
Hers: Work hard and learn all you can while you have the chance. Learn work/life balance and take care of yourself. Have fun!!
