The House Health and Welfare Committee has some…interesting priorities. Unfortunately HB946 was not one of them. HB946 by Mandie Landry (D-New Orleans) would have required hospitals to disclose pricing information before offering treatment.

House Bill 750 by Rep. Vincent Cox passed off the House floor Monday evening. House Bill 750 would require companies to provide a method for cancelling subscriptions that is easy, timely, and cost-effective, among outlining other consumer protection.

House Bill 750 by Rep. Cox (R-Gretna) would require companies to make ending subscriptions as easy as signing up for them, and to make cancellation available through the same method as sign up—so if you sign up online you can cancel online.
