π Wondering if your child is ready to transition to a traditional school setting?
Starting school is a big milestone, and there's no one-size-fits-all approach. Every child is unique, and the right transition plan is the one that meets their individual needs.
Many families find success by:
β¨ Gradually introducing school through a hybrid ABA and school schedule
β¨ Meeting with teachers and school staff before the first day
β¨ Practicing classroom routines, communication skills, and social interactions ahead of time
β¨ Building a plan that supports long-term success both in and out of the classroom
At Ascent Behavior Therapy Center, we're here to support your family every step of the way. From school readiness goals and individualized transition planning to collaborating with educators, we're committed to helping each child enter the classroom with confidence.
Have questions about whether your child is ready for school or how to begin planning a transition? We'd love to help!

Today, we honor Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, resilience, and progress.
Juneteenth is a time to reflect on our nation's history, recognize the contributions of Black Americans, and continue fostering communities built on inclusion, respect, and opportunity for all.
As we celebrate this important day, we encourage learning, reflection, and meaningful conversations that help us better understand one another and the diverse experiences that strengthen our communities.
Happy Juneteenth.
