We are not an open intake shelter. Since starting in 2010, FOTA has found forever homes for more than 7,000 animals from local shelters and our FASS re-home program. FOTA Alternative to Shelter Surrender (FASS) is a program where an owner or finder can foster a dog with the intent to have the dog re-homed. Located on our website (www.fotabr.org) FOSTER tab are instructions for applying to the FASS program. Visit our website and learn how you can become a member, donate, or volunteer!

MADDOX (brown & white) is a smart cookie & a good listener! He’s been outstanding in his foster home, & he gets along great with his fosters’ dog. Maddox is 4 yr., 45 lb., housetrained, & heartworm negative. You can meet Maddox at The Dog Adoption House. He would love for you to take him out in one of our play yards! Apply to adopt in person. LOLLY🍭 is your girl if you are looking for a tv buddy! Her foster says she likes to watch tv, especially when dogs are on it. She did say she thinks Hawai’i Five O is her favorite though!😉 She is a great dog & will be a wonderful part of a lucky adopter’s life. Lolly is 3 yr. old., 24 lb., & great with other dogs.
