Southern University Alumni - East Baton Rouge Parish Chapter

On Sunday, May 31st, members of the Southern University Alumni Federation East Baton Rouge Parish chapter, fellowshiped collectively at Beacon Light Baptist Church of Baton Rouge, pastored by Elder Eric Williams. In observing the culmination of Mental Health Awareness month (May), the message entitled A Warning for Warriors; Use Your Resources, was brought forth by Dr. Tarkisha Wallace. She reminded us in Philippians 4:6, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to god, all while encouraging us to not go it alone, shouldering the issues that we may face on a daily basis but to use the mental health resources that are available to us. 💚💙💛
