Kleinpeter Farms Dairy

We have seen recent social media discussions regarding Sinagra Dairy and would like to address several statements that have incorrectly involved Kleinpeter Farms Dairy.

First and most importantly, Kleinpeter Farms Dairy was not a party to the contract between Sinagra Dairy and Lone Star Milk Products. We did not place Sinagra Dairy in default, terminate any agreement, or participate in the decisions made regarding that contractual relationship.

While we respect that people may have differing opinions about the situation, it is important that discussions be based on accurate information.

For more than 250 years, Kleinpeter has been part of the Louisiana community, and for over a century we have been committed to dairy farming and producing high-quality Louisiana dairy products. Today, our company includes more than 120 dedicated employees and numerous Louisiana dairy farm families who work hard every day to provide fresh, local milk and dairy products to our customers.

Like many milk processors, we maintain supply agreements with dairy farmers. These agreements are essential to operating a fluid milk processing plant because milk is highly perishable and production volumes must be carefully planned and managed. Consistent milk supply is critical to serving customers, supporting farm families, and maintaining stable operations.

We value Louisiana dairy farmers and recognize the important role they play in our state's agricultural community. We remain committed to supporting local agriculture, producing high-quality dairy products, and serving the customers who have placed their trust in us for generations.
