Youth Oasis is reaching out during a critical time for our organization and the young people we serve. Due to significant funding delays, reimbursement issues, and financial challenges impacting nonprofit organizations across the state and country, Youth Oasis is currently facing a severe budget crisis. In order to continue operations and maintain services for youth in our community, we are working to raise $350,000 within the next 90 days. For years, Youth Oasis has provided support, safety, and stability to youth and young adults ages 11–25 experiencing homelessness, foster care involvement, family separation, housing instability, juvenile justice challenges, and other difficult life circumstances. Our programs are designed to help young people access safe housing, life skills support, case management, prevention services, and caring adults who guide them toward stability and independence. Every day, we work with young people who are navigating challenges no child or young adult should face alone. Many of the youth we serve do not have safe or stable places to turn during times of crisis. Youth Oasis exists to ensure they are met with dignity, compassion, and meaningful support. Over the past year, several major funding disruptions have occurred simultaneously. Like many nonprofit organizations, much of our funding operates on a reimbursement basis, meaning services are provided first while payment is received later. Delayed reimbursements, federal funding changes, and ongoing contract and payment disruptions have created an overwhelming financial strain on our organization. Despite these challenges, our commitment to the youth we serve has never changed. Our staff continues showing up every day to provide support, resources, and care to vulnerable young people across our community. At the same time, our leadership team has been actively pursuing solutions through funding applications, partnerships, financial restructuring, and long-term sustainability planning. While we continue working toward long-term stabilization, we cannot do this alone. We are asking our community, partners, supporters, and local leaders to stand with Youth Oasis during this difficult time. Every donation, every share, and every act of support helps us continue providing life-changing services to youth who depend on us. Your support helps keep our doors open and ensures young people continue to have access to safe spaces, housing support, meals, hygiene products, case management, life skills services, and caring adults who believe in their future. We truly believe every young person deserves safety, stability, and the opportunity to succeed. Together, we can help ensure that Youth Oasis remains open and available for the youth and families who count on us. Thank you for your continued support, compassion, and belief in our mission. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has stood beside Youth Oasis and the young people we serve.
