To the person who almost did not come back to church at all: we see you. Maybe the last building left a mark. Maybe you were told there was a version of you that was welcome and a version that was not. Here is what we believe with our whole hearts: you were never the problem. A community that only had room for the edited you was too small to hold the God who made all of you. There is a different kind of table, and there is a seat at it with your name on it. No audition. No fine print. Just come as you are.
