Salute to Martin Luther King Jr, even though he didn’t get to finish fighting, he fought a great battle, making great revolutionary progress, and paving the way for us to be able to pick up where he left off! 🏁

However, many people fail to realize that yes MLK achieved LEGAL equality, but he was assassinated before we could obtain ECONOMIC equality. 🎯

This “Economic Injustice” resulted in stolen wealth from blacks (free labor, locked out of buying homes & other opportunities), causing what I like to call the “Aftermath of Slavery.” Here’s a line/quote from my other song [Speak Out Session] “Slavery finished but the aftermath still with us!” 🗣️

Because of this, many blacks, especially in the south, has been in survival mode their entire life, while many white families are starting out life on third base. The stealing of wealth from blacks, then systemic oppressing them, still affects many blacks in 2026, and in some ways some of that “oppression” still exists today. 🇺🇸

So definitely giving MLK his flowers 💐, as well as Rosa Parks, Malcolm, and others who helped in this fight for the liberation & justice for Black America ✊🏾🖤
