DestinationZeroDeaths

The coordinators from the Capital Region and North Shore coalitions participated in the 6th Annual Bridging the Gap Community Resource Fair held in Baton Rouge last week. This event provides a variety of important resources to the community, and it was a great opportunity for our Destination Zero Deaths coordinators to help educate the community on the importance of wearing a seat belt, and the dangers of driving distracted or impaired. The Mayor of Baton Rouge, Mayor-President Sid Edwards, and Assistant Chief Administrative Officer, Jeffrey LeDuff, took the opportunity to take a picture with our coordinators to help remind everyone to buckle up and put their phone down! Thank you Bridge Center for Hope for inviting us to participate in this fantastic event!

Capital Region DZD participated in the DOTD ROADEO, where we educated employees and their families on the importance of traffic safety.
