Get to know the farm behind the LOCAL flavor.

This week, we’re proud to feature Garber Farms in Iota, Louisiana, a family farm with roots dating back to 1881. Located in Acadia Parish between Bayou Nezpique and Bayou Des Cannes, Garber Farms has been growing grains and vegetables in the heart of South Louisiana’s Cajun Country for generations.

Today, three generations of the Garber family continue that tradition, producing their well-known Louisiana Yams and other LOCAL products with the same pride and dedication that has carried the farm for more than 140 years.

As Matthew Garber says, “Our pride and most important market is LOCAL!”

Watch this episode of our Meet Your Farmer series to hear directly from Garber Farms and learn more about the people, passion, and history behind the product.

Ask your CCP Sales Rep about this week’s LOCAL availability from Garber Farms.
