When the business became successful enough my parents took the staff to dinner at a restaurant and then we started having parties at the house. They were all special and fun to me.

The picture of the young man, I believe his name was Richard. He was still hanging out at the house and LSU was playing in a regional and the game was tied and we grabbed him and ran to the old Alex Box to see the end of the game and the Tigers win. We ran straight in as it was the 7th inning and nobody was watching the gate anymore. It was still tied when we arrived.

The picture in the dining room, if you look closely the man serving himself is Ken Crow. He came to our home the night after the signing and we got the pleasure of visiting with him that night. My mom cooked him a great Louisiana dinner and we tried to introduce him to our culture down here.

The final picture happened without me in the store. Bo**er McFarland was shopping in our store and my sister being the huge LSU football fan recognized him and said she had to get his autograph for me. The only thing she could find was one of our bags. She couldn’t have found anything better!!!!
