We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:
* Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
* Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, ensuring they are sterilized and ready for use.
* Take X-rays as directed by the dentist, adhering to safety protocols.
* Document patient medical histories and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Operate 3D scanners for imaging as required during procedures.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Experience:
* Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory. We welcome candidates eager to learn.
* Knowledge of general dentistry and anatomy is essential.
* Proficiency in using dental technology, including X-ray machines and 3D scanners, is a plus.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.

January is ALMOST done and it’s been a great start to 2025!

I’ve seen some firsts like ❄️ but also my first few days at Dr. Politz office!
