BREC Foundation

Last week, the BREC Foundation board held its August meeting at the Baton Rouge Gallery - center for contemporary art. Joining the meeting was BREC Superintendent Corey Wilson who provided an update to the board on the many BREC activities and projects. Also joining the meeting was Jason Andreasen, the Gallery's Executive Director, who shared an update on the "And We Went: 60 Years After the Baton Rouge Swim-In" of which the BREC Foundation and BREC were sponsors.

Baton Rouge businesses are rallying together to bring a lush, pedestrian-friendly green space to the Perkins Road underpass!

Randy Albarez, Immediate Past President of the Louisiana Recreation and Park Association (right) presents 2020 BREC Foundation President Al Moreau a Citation in honor of his commitment to therapeutic recreation which affords individuals the opportunity to fully participate.

Mr. Moreau’s involvement and support of BREC and other entities has helped to ensure all can enjoy activities!
