That's right! Organizations have dreams too - their company vision!

We have a great opportunity for a Petro Chemical Engineer. Great pay, fabulous benefits and he/she can (if they get through the interview with the company) start almost immediately. This is a really good opp if you know anyone or you yourself are qualified call immediately - this job will be filled quickly.

I have several incredible canditates looking for positions - now I need to quickly get into companies to make a match for them.
Does anyone know anybody who would be willing to give me an introduction into Coca Cola or other companies who are looking for new hires?
Thank you in advance for any help you can give me - it's all about who you know in BR -- I thought it was just me that thought that but I've now heard the same thing from so many people.
I'm on my own personal campaign, I hear so many times that people don't follow up in BR and don't call people back, don't respond to resumes; on and on! It's interesting to me because I did my own search three years ago, when I first moved here, and found the same thing - the only person that got back to me was someone from Mary Perkins! I didn't even get form letters.
One of the things that happened (don't get me wrong I LOVE Baton Rouge) when I was living in Hartford, CT. if someone called to network, or sent a resume, they'd receive a response. The underlying reason being that it didn't matter how high up you were in a company you knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that one day it could be you looking for a new job (having dealt with a layoff or whatever) and people just weren't going to risk having to ask someone for help when they hadn't provided it when they were asked!
I'm out to change the perception because with all the new companies coming here we need to change - we need to make sure that the wonderful Southern Hospitality that we are all so proud of is real and isn't just a superficial trait.
Good manners means being aware of others in every situation and making them feel comfortable.
I understand that people get many requests - companies receive hundreds of resumes, however, sending out a standard email or two, takes very little time and effort and one simply never knows when it'll be their time to knock on the door and ask for advice, an interview or help!
OK - I'm off my soap box now!! I love my new role as Executive Recruiter and I love my life - how great is that and how lucky I am!
