Shoutout to .pearson for blessing the studio with her amazing eye and kind words on her post this morning:

His Florida Street storefront reflects off James Curtis's glasses as he stands in front of the raw materials he uses to make handcrafted pencil holders. Behind him on his whiteboard are the words "Make History." Using sales of his pencil holders as self-fundraising, Curtis's vision includes making history as the only Black-owned bookstore in Baton Rouge.
