The Louisiana Culinary Institute is licensed by the State of Louisiana Board of Regents, is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE), is a member of the Louisiana Restaurant Association (LRA), and is a member of the National Restaurant Association (NRA). Graduates are awarded an Associate of Occupational Studies Degree in Culinary Arts with concentrations in Advanced Culinary Arts

Doyle High School’s ProStart students had an incredible first year filled with hands-on learning and real culinary experiences. Their recent visit to LCI gave students the opportunity to experience professional culinary training through live demos, a campus tour, and a chef-prepared lunch.
With support from the LRAEF School Support Fund grant, students also gained access to new equipment that helped support multiple catered events throughout the year. We’re proud to support the next generation of culinary talent.
