Dark Drafts Book Fest is today!
We can’t believe it, but today is finally here! 15+ indie authors will be at Port Orleans Brewing Company sharing their creative passions with you. We hope you can come out and support them, and grab yourself a cool beer on a hot day to go with a new book. The event is from 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM and today only.
Typos suck! And somehow those little gremlins hide during the editing phase and you spot one when your beautiful book is published and ready for the world to read. Fret not! It happens to the best of us, and even the most prolific authors, editors, and publishers.
I’m an outliner, and I like to know where my story and my characters are headed at all times. But sometimes during the writing process, the characters decide their own path and suddenly their predestined path doesn’t fit. Sometimes your characters choose their own path no matter how much it annoys you. Listen to them, and enjoy the journey they take you on.
