๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ’› BIG NEWS weโ€™re so excited to share! ๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŒž

This summer, PLPC Ashley Robinson is bringing her own vision to life with The Confidence Club, a group she thoughtfully created and will personally lead for middle schoolers ages 11โ€“14.

Ashley saw a need for a space where kids could build confidence, learn coping skills, and feel truly supported during a season that can sometimes feel lonely or overwhelming. From that idea, The Confidence Club was born โœจ

This group is designed to help kids:
๐ŸŒฑ build confidence and self-esteem
๐ŸŒฑ manage emotions in healthy ways
๐ŸŒฑ strengthen communication and social skills
๐ŸŒฑ feel more prepared for the upcoming school year

With Ashleyโ€™s passion for working with tweens and teens, this group will be engaging, encouraging, and rooted in connection. Every session is created with intention so kids leave feeling more confident, capable, and understood.

Spots are limited, and weโ€™re thrilled to see this idea turn into something that will truly make a difference ๐Ÿ’•

โ˜€๏ธ Summer Reminder โ˜€๏ธ

As the weather heats up, itโ€™s helpful to know that some mental health medications can make people more sensitive to sunlight or heat. This might mean sunburn happens more easily, or that staying hydrated and cool becomes extra important.

Not everyone experiences this, and it doesnโ€™t apply to all medications, but awareness can go a long way in staying safe and comfortable this summer.

If you have questions about how heat or sun exposure may affect your medication, your prescribing provider is the best person to ask. Please donโ€™t stop or change any medication without medical guidance.

Take care of yourself and enjoy the season safely ๐Ÿ’›
