We are excited to welcome all future Wildcats and friends to our 2026 Central High Youth Summer Camps hosted by CHS Athletic teams! From learning new skills to making memories and having a blast with our coaches and athletes, this summer is going to be one to remember!

What a truly sun-sational Teacher Appreciation Week! We had the best time making sure our teachers soaked up sunshine and appreciation with love, goodies, delicious food, and lots of sunshine-filled surprises all week long!

Day 1 started strong with lunch from Walk-On's in Central and sweet snowballs from Kona Ice! Teachers began packing for summer with fun travel essentials like sunscreen, lip gloss, makeup wipes, and more.

Day 2 featured a delicious pastalaya lunch lovingly prepared by Journey Church. Teachers added bright summer towels and stylish sunglasses to their growing summer stash!

Day 3 brought taco day from El Mejor with tacos, chips & salsa, rice, and beans! Staff also received adorable summer koozies and refreshing drinks to keep the sunshine vibes going.

Day 4 began with an amazing breakfast from David's featuring eggs, bacon, biscuits, and gravy! Teachers cooled off with portable fans, freeze pops, fruit-infused water stations, and sweet treats from Great American Cookies.

Day 5 wrapped up the week Louisiana-style! Teachers arrived to crawfish-themed goodies including crawfish chairs, trays, boil shirts, hair clips, and more before enjoying a delicious crawfish étouffée lunch from Tony's Seafood. We had a special treat when TriLuxe Health stopped by for free B12 shots to keep us energized until summer! Our staff is officially ready for our annual end of year crawfish boil coming up next!

A HUGE thank you to our incredible parents, community members, churches, local businesses, and volunteers who helped make this week extra special. We are so grateful for our students who showed up with hugs, gifts, hand written affirmation, and smiles to remind their teachers how much they're loved.

Our teachers are the sunshine in our school, and this week was all about celebrating the love, joy, patience, and dedication they pour into our students every single day.

🎉 Our Friday Bus Takeover was a huge hit!

Parents showed up in inflatable costumes to greet students with smiles, high fives, and lots of excitement as they arrived at school. They truly made our morning extra special for our students!
