Brandon Noel was elected to the East Baton Rouge Parish Metropolitan Council, District 1 seat in December 2020, assuming office in 2021. With plenty of smiles and a whole lot of holiday cheer, Mayor Pro Tempore Noel turned Christmas spirit into action at a joyful turkey giveaway today in the heart of the City of Zachary. Organized by Sharon McKnight, families picked up their festive birds, shared laughs, and soaked up the warmth of community. Special thanks to Mayor McDavid for lending a helping hand and to Choctaw Provision Co. for the gobblers for the 5th year! Churches participating are growing each year and include:
