Today, the TRIO Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) at BRCC had the pleasure of attending the annual LSU Facility Services Summer Leisure Learning Session. This marks our third year partnering with their incredible team, and we are always grateful for the warm welcome!

We had the opportunity to share information about Baton Rouge Community College’s academic and workforce programs, financial aid opportunities, industry certifications, diplomas, and degree pathways. Most importantly, we let participants know that TRIO EOC is here to guide them every step of the way—from earning a HiSET to enrolling in college and achieving their educational goals.

🎓 Congratulations to the incredible Class of 2026! 🎉

Last week, we celebrated the graduation of more than 40 students from the JAG and WorkReadyU programs as they earned their HiSET diplomas. Their resilience, determination, and perseverance were on full display as they proudly walked across the stage surrounded by family, friends, and supporters.

This milestone represents more than a diploma, it represents new beginnings, brighter futures, and proof that it’s never too late to achieve your goals.

Scholarship Opportunity for Louisiana Residents
Applications are now open for the 2026 Louisiana Resiliency Scholarship.
Through a partnership between Quanta Services and Entergy, two Louisiana residents will receive full scholarships to attend the Northwest Lineman Center Electrical Lineworker Program.
The scholarship covers:�
• Tuition�• Application and lab fees
• CDL costs
•Required tools
• Student housing during the program
Applicants must be Louisiana residents, submit a complete application packet, and be accepted into the Northwest Lineman Center Electrical Lineworker Program.
