This month for we spoke to Kim Langlois, Director of Corporate Affairs in our Baton Rouge office. She joined FNBB in May of 1987. She said, “I have been blessed to spend nearly 40 years with FNBB. Over the years, FNBB has provided me with countless opportunities to learn, grow, and challenge myself both professionally and personally. The confidence, experience, and relationships I have gained throughout my career have shaped who I am today and allowed me to build a rewarding career for which I will always be extremely grateful for.” She and her husband, Ken, recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. They are blessed with two children, Kenli and Koby, their son-in law, Herbie, their daughter-in-law, Claire, and three grandchildren, Hart, Hudson, and Ruby. She said, “Our children and grandchildren are the greatest blessings God has given us, and there is nothing we enjoy more than spending time together, making memories, and watching them grow.” When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, relaxing on their houseboat, camping, traveling, and making memories with family and friends.

What do you like most about working at FNBB? Without question, it’s the people. FNBB has always felt like family to me. That sense of family is what makes FNBB such a special place to work. Throughout my 39 years here, I have had the privilege of working alongside incredible people, many of whom have become dear friends. I truly cannot imagine a better group of people to call my work family.

What is something you are looking forward to this year? I am looking forward to spending time with family and friends, traveling, enjoying the outdoors, and making new memories along the way. This year has already brought some wonderful experiences, including a memorable sailing trip through the British Virgin Islands with friends, and I’m excited to see what new adventures are still to come.
