🐎 Behind the scenes at the barn, we're testing something new. 🌟 🪰

This week, I'm especially excited about testing an essential oil spray I made for the horses at the barn where I work. As an animal aromatherapist, I'm always exploring natural ways to support animal wellness, and this weekend we began testing a natural fly spray that is formulated specifically for horses.

The initial results have been very encouraging. The spray appears to be effectively repelling flies and discouraging them from landing on the horses, which was our primary goal. While we'll continue monitoring its effectiveness as temperatures rise and fly populations increase, it's exciting to see such a positive response in the early stages.

I am incredibly grateful to work with a barn owner who values innovation and is open to exploring natural wellness solutions. This collaboration allows us both to learn, observe, and refine approaches that support the animals in our care. ❤️

The blend includes carefully selected essential oils, including cedarwood and peppermint, creating an aroma that is both refreshing and pleasant. As an added bonus, the horses smell wonderful after application! 🙂 The formula is safe to use around the people and animals who share the barn environment (no chemicals!) which is why we're so excited to try it.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is seeing how nature can provide practical solutions that enhance the daily lives of animals. I look forward to continuing this trial over the coming weeks and sharing updates as we learn more.

These two have brought so much love, adventure, and laughter into our lives. Rescue dogs have an incredible way of healing hearts while reminding us what unconditional love truly looks like.

As part of our natural pet health and wellness journey, we believe every rescue deserves a healthy, happy life filled with proper nutrition, holistic care, enrichment, and LOTS of love.

Today, Tala and Thor are being spoiled with extra cuddles, healthy treats, outdoor time, and all the attention they can handle! 🦴✨
