A little step action. Customer had already removed the old steps. Stringers had rotted on bottom and were no longer safe. Customer wanted something that would last so we poured a little concrete and gave him more than he ever imagined he would have. Hand cut stringers 12" on center for some 10 foot wide steps. Rough cut western red cedar for the 4X6 post and some split rail red cedar for the hand rails to match the original.

We also replaced the outer band board and a few problem decking boards while raising and supporting the posts that were holding the roof up on the deck.

End of customer's deck was about to fall off due to improper installation from years ago. We added joist hangers where needed, removed the sagging section, replaced the decking and adjusted the railing to fit the deck. Customer plans to rebuild all decks in the future so this was all about the safety and remaining functional until the rebuild occurs.
