DarPro just joined the growing list of folks who learned the hard way: we don’t take kindly to being pushed around.
After taking this fight head-on and elevating it to the Attorney General’s office last month, the AG is now suing DarPro for ongoing violations that put Bastrop County families at risk.
When our families are threatened, we take action and get results. Don’t mess with HD 17.

The City of Bastrop is updating the Bastrop Building Block (B3) Code to address concerns about its impact on residential neighborhoods. These changes aim to preserve the character and quality of our community.
Key updates include:
Focus on P2 (Rural) & P3 (Neighborhood) areas.
Adding minimum lot sizes (where none currently exist) and setbacks (to match the surrounding area).
Removing duplexes from traditionally single-family areas.
