❤️𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗟𝗼𝘃e

Today we light the fourth candle of Advent, the Candle of Love. This candle reminds us of God’s unconditional, sacrificial love shown through the birth of Jesus Christ.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

Love is at the heart of the Christmas story. God loved us enough to come near, to dwell among us, and to redeem us. As we prepare our hearts for Christ’s birth, let us reflect on how we are called to love as Christ loves, with compassion, grace, humility, and forgiveness.

May this week be a time of deep reflection and renewed commitment to live out love in our homes, our church, and our community.

✨ 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭: 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞✨

As we enter this second week of Advent, we light the candle of Peace. In a world that often feels loud, chaotic, and unsettled, Jesus reminds us that the peace He gives isn’t temporary or fragile, it is deep, steady, and rooted in God’s promise.

“𝑷𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝑰 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒚𝒐𝒖; 𝒎𝒚 𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝑰 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖. 𝑰 𝒅𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔. 𝑫𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒍𝒆𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒔 𝒃𝒆 𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒃𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒃𝒆 𝒂𝒇𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒅.” — John 14:27

Let us quiet our hearts today and make room for Christ’s peace in our lives, our families, and our community. May we become carriers of peace, speaking hope, practicing patience, loving deeply, and trusting God more than our circumstances.

This week, let our prayer be:
“Lord, fill us with Your peace, that we may walk in faith and shine Your light in all we do.”
