It was an honor to attend the grand opening of the new Caldwell County Community & Evacuation Center alongside Senator Judith Zaffirini, and Caldwell County Judge Hoppy Haden.

This impressive new facility is a tremendous investment in the safety and future of Caldwell County. In times of disaster, it will provide shelter and security for families, and throughout the year it will serve as a gathering place for community events, conferences, and celebrations.

Projects like this are only possible when local and state leaders work together to deliver real results for the people we serve. Congratulations to Judge Haden, the Caldwell County Commissioners Court, Senator Zaffirini, the Texas General Land Office, and everyone who helped make this vision a reality.
