I’m grateful for the love we’ve received so far on the video for Monte Ibel ‘s ‘Thunder’ 🌩️

There’s no fancy aspects of production on this one.

We winged it entirely from the start.

The clips of him from the parking lot were just intended to be used for Instagram and TikTok

Then Monte came up with the idea of filming him walking backwards through downtown Bernardsville which I then threw in reverse in Davinci.

The idea of him going in reverse represents going back to the beginning to a point before things got crazy in life.

The sound of the birds in his song, represent a new beginning. The idea is that he is walking back to that.

I don’t write this because I think I’ve made a Cole Bennet type of music video.

I write this to again say, you really don’t need a lot to create something that you consider to be great.

You can tell a story with very minimal details and still create something appealing to your audience.

I’m continuing to learn when it comes to video and with time my production value will only continue to grow…

But something that will never change is that I will never over stress finite details and always find a way to create the most out of what I have readily available to me

I will always find a way to create something out of nothing.
