Yesterday, interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS made its closest approach to Earth, at a distance of approximately twice the distance of the Earth from the sun. The "I" stands for interstellar. And the 3 is because this is only the 3rd object discovered that originated from outside of our solar system. 3I is unlike our solar system comets - much faster, unusually large and different composition. It may not even be a comet. Not a Hubble class image but I did capture it at 4AM on Wednesday.
